Christine Schifferly

Christine Schifferly, 88, of Findlay, Ohio passed away on July 8, 2023. She was born to the late Milburn and Cordia Mae (Thompson) Miracle on October 24, 1934 in Brownies Creek, Kentucky. 
Christine married James H. Schifferly on October 26, 1952 and he preceded her in death June 13, 2019. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Schifferly; brothers; Robert Miracle, Ewing Miracle, and Worden Miracle.

She is survived by granddaughters, Shelly (Josh) Friley and Tracy Schifferly; great-grandchildren Isaac, Olivia, and Roman; daughter-in-law Teresa Schifferly; sister-in-law Roberta Miracle; special friend of many years, Dena Ashcraft; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
 
Christine was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where she was the leader of their American Sign Language Program.  She and her husband established The Broken Arrow Campground, a summer camp  for children, and ran it for over twenty years.  Besides spending time with her family, Christine enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening, and adventures to Amish country.

Visitation will be held for family and friends from 11:00am-12:00pm on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. A funeral service will take place immediately following at noon, remaining at the Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home and will be officiated by Pastor Ben Jennings.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 7839 CR 236, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
