Cheryl L. (Schindler) Sanchez

Cheryl L. Sanchez (Schindler,) 70, of Findlay, Ohio went home to be with the Lord in the early morning of, Sunday January 19, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born in Lima, OH on June 20, 1954. She is survived by the love of her life, Robert Sanchez Sr. who she married on June 28, 1975. Cheryl is also survived by her brother Richard E. Schindler, her children Angel (Danny) Werner, Robert (Jennifer Blakely) Sanchez, Danielle (Josh) Ramirez, Jennifer Salisbury, her 7 beloved grandchildren Brett, Kaylee, Mariah, Josh, Alexis, Savannah, and Daniel and great-grandchildren Lincoln and Parker. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Richard and Ethel (Miller) Schindler, her sisters Betty Jones and Nora Swallow, and her brothers Larry and Greg Schindler.

Cheryl graduated from Lima Senior High School in 1971. She was a stay-at-home mother but also worked various part time jobs throughout her life. Cheryl was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and stubbornness.  Talented at many hobbies, she enjoyed crafting, crocheting, diamond art painting, cooking, and her favorite, SHOPPING! Cheryl was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. She didn't go a day without her Dr. Pepper, and anyone who drank her last Dr. Pepper, would hear about it. Cheryl loved spending time with her family and friends, and was proud to host multiple events annually, which without question, always included karaoke. Above all, being a Nana was her most cherished treasure.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Ave Findlay, Ohio 45840. A funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Monday, January 27, 2025, also at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home followed by the burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
