Cathy Jean Inbody

Cathy Jean Inbody, 74 of McComb, passed away in the Emergency Room of Blanchard Valley Hospital on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 6:10 p.m. She was born on June 7, 1947 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Carlton and Helen (Bright Schmidt) Hutson. On January 30, 1966, Cathy married Samuel A. Inbody and he preceded her in death on January 24, 1994. On July 17, 2004 Cathy married John Metz, and he preceded her in death on June 7, 2016.She is survived by her daughters, Rachelle J. (Phillip) Bormuth of McComb, Ohio and Jennifer L. (Matthew) Sprague of Olmsted Township, Ohio as well as her daughter-in-law, Jody Inbody of McComb, Ohio. Cathy is also survived by her sister, Teri Redding of Findlay. Grandchildren surviving are Samuel (Peggy) Inbody, Noah Bormuth, Nicholas Bormuth, Natalie Sprague and Adam Sprague.Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and her son, Dennis A. Inbody.She was a member of the former Pleasant Hill Bible Church in McComb and loved singing in the church choir. Cathy thoroughly enjoyed raising her children, being in the kitchen cooking and baking for her family, and growing her own produce to freeze and can for the winters. She loved being a homemaker. In her youth, she enjoyed water skiing, loved her horses (Derby and Jessie); Cathy had a passion for traveling - just loving life!Visitation for family and friends will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840. The funeral service honoring Cathy will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Chaplain Linda Davison officiating. Burial will follow in the McComb Union Cemetery.
