Carol Fetter, 74, of Findlay, passed away Thursday morning, February 9,
2023, at The Oaks at Birchaven. She was born on October 2, 1948, in
Tiffin, Ohio to the late Earl Dean and Dolores (Boehler) McCullough.
Carol married Dennis A. Russell and they had three sons and were
divorced. She later married Jack Fetter, both he and Dennis preceded
her in death, as well as her step-son Randy Fetter.
Carol is survived by her three sons; Brian Russell and Matt Russell of Tennessee, Kevin Russell of
Findlay, and a step-daughter Rhonda (Matt) Lawrence and two sisters; Nancy Daniels and Diane
Rentz and a brother Patrick McCullough, her grandchildren; Mercedes, Caleb (Megan), Madeline,
Hayden, Seth, Abigail, Josh, Jesse, Nicholas, Emily, and Alex; a great grandchild, Cadan.
Carol always enjoyed spending time in her garden and loved to dance. She was an accomplished
cook, baker and candy maker, sharing her creations with those she loved. Outside of her
family, Carol’s greatest love was the water. In her life, she owned two places lakeside, one at Lake Erie
and one at Indian Lake. Carol also took many vacations to Myrtle Beach, and those fond memories
will be cherished and treasured by her loved ones for years to come.
