Carol A. Berger, 83 of Findlay, died at 8:43 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Birchaven Village. Carol was born on September 10, 1938 in Warren, Pennsylvania to Cecil R. and Helen J. (Kroh) Kifer. She married Robert L. Berger on June 2, 1956 and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2018.Carol is survived by two daughters, Beth (Doug) Pritts of Dewitt, New York, and Amy (Brad) Stoller of Cary, North Carolina; a sister, Cynthia S. (Steve) Ashton of Lorain, Ohio; a brother, Thomas (Susan) Kifer of Ft. Meyers, FL; and two grandchildren, Sarah and Jason Pritts of Dewitt, New York. Carol is also survived by a brother-in-law, Roger (Millie) Berger of Findlay, Ohio and three nephews, Jonathan Ashton, James Ashton and Nicholas Berger.Carol graduated from Findlay High School in 1956. Carol retired from Marathon Oil Company after working there for 25 years as a secretary. She was a member of the BVRHC Auxiliary and Twig 5. She was also a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Fostoria where she served on the church council, was a Deacon, sang in the choir and played in the bell choir.A private graveside service will be held for the family at Maple Grove Cemetery of Findlay.Memorials in honor of Carol may be made to Hope Lutheran Church, 151 West Center Street, Fostoria, Ohio 44830.Arrangements are being handled by KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME.
