Brooks Gray

Brooks Gray, age 55, of Findlay passed away at 7:30 AM on Tuesday, August 1st at home. Brooks was born to Michael and Diana (Walters) Gray on June 2, 1968, in Findlay, Ohio. He married Melinda Gossman, they had two children, Alexis Gray and Blake Gray. They later divorced and he married Lisa Hooley and she survives him. He is survived by his mother Diana Gray, Findlay, OH and his children Alexis Gray, Orlando, FL and Blake Gray, Findlay, OH. Also surviving are brother Brad (Shelley) Gray, Findlay, OH and step children Ashley Rickle, Columbus, OH and Tanner Rickle, Findlay, OH. He was proceeded in death by his father Michael Gray.

Brooks graduated from Findlay High School in 1986 and then went on to the University of Findlay, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Business Finance. He worked for several banks in the Findlay area, most recently Old Fort Bank as a Commercial Lender.

He was a member of Findlay Amateur Hockey Association. His love of hockey began as a young man

 when he played for the Findlay Amateur Team and has continued throughout the years as a parent and 

as a coach of his son’s team. Brooks took part in the local Big Brothers and Big Sisters mentoring program as

well as being a part of the Findlay Rotary Club.  Brooks always enjoyed being an avid Michigan fan,

watching the games and cheering on his team.

Visitation will be held for family and friends from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.  on Friday, August 4th at

Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. A service will take place at 10:00 A.M.

on Saturday, August 5th, at the Funeral Home and will be officiated by Rev. Kelly Sterling.
