Annetta K. Ward, 79 of Findlay passed away at 5:07 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. Annetta was born on November 17, 1943 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Charles M. and Anna Irene (Ernwein) Brehm.
She was to married Bill Ward, enjoying over 40 years together. She is survived by her husband, Bill, two daughters, Lauralyn K. (Jon) Poland of Findlay, Charla A. (Nick) Ulrich of Monclova Township, Ohio and a son, Jeff (Pam) Hovatter of Pleasant Grove, Utah; grandchildren, Travis (Erika) Poland, Ashley Flores, Ray Flores, Alexandria (Abigail) Ulrich, Victoria Ulrich, and Zachary Ulrich; great grandchildren, Adam Flores, Jackson and Bennett Flores and Levi Ulrich; a sister, Deborah (Ron) Rose; many nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Anne Brehm of Findlay.
Annetta was preceded in death by a grandson, Gabriel Poland and a brother, Phillip Brehm.
She retired as a manager from Kroger on Tiffin Avenue after more than forty years. She loved gardening, fairy gardens, spending time with her family, traveling with her husband and cheering for her beloved Cleveland Browns.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 and from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. The funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the funeral home with the Rev. Josh Routzon officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery next to her mother.
