Amadeo Solis

Amadeo Solis, age 85, died peacefully at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 15, 1936 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He married Maria D. Salazar on January 5, 1957. She preceded him in death. Amadeo worked for ADS. He loved his family, loved to garden, enjoyed being with his friends and going to casinos. He is survived by five sons: Jose (Tony) Solis, Davi C. Solis, Amadeo "Danny" Solis, Mario (Jody) Solis and Jesus "Roger" Solis, all of Findlay. Also surviving is a daughter, Maria E. (Jeff) Hall of Dola, Ohio. He has 11 grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a sister-in-law Paula Ruiz of Ludington, Michigan.Amadeo was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Findlay. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Visitation for friends and family will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio with Rosary prayer at 5:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at St. Michael Catholic Church, downtown location, 617 W. Main Cross Street, Findlay, Ohio. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery in Findlay. Memorials in honor of Amadeo may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
