Adelaide D. Reiss

Adelaide D. Reiss, 86 of Findlay, passed away at the Brookdale of Findlay at 3:42 a.m., Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was born in Long Island, New York on November 7, 1934 to the late Ernest and Frances (Fox) Bunten. Adelaide was married to Louis Conrad Reiss, Jr. who preceded her in death on October 6, 2010.Surviving are her sons, Todd (Candy) Reiss of Findlay and Louis E. Reiss of Latham, New York; two step-grandchildren, Samantha Skender and Ryan Treece; and a step great-grandson, Braylynn Skender. Adelaide was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Lisa Reiss, and brother, Robert Bunten.She graduated from Lynbrook High School in New York. Adelaide was a former secretary, but her more important career was a homemaker, taking care of her family.In accordance with her wishes, Adelaide has been cremated, and her cremains have been laid to rest with her husband in the Calverton National Cemetery of Calverton, New York.All arrangements have been entrusted to Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home.
