Lewis D. Livesay, age 85 of Findlay, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 7:54 a.m. at Birchaven Village in Findlay. Lewis was born on November 2, 1934 in Frankford, West Virginia to Alex K. and Marygray D. (Hinkle) Livesay.
Lewis was married to Jean I. George on December 22, 1955 and she survives, along with daughter, DeAnn Livesay and son, Alan Livesay; grandchildren Haley and Alex; sisters, Regina Bennett and Laura Bryant; and brothers, Pete (Carolyn) Livesay, Wayne (Dreama) Livesay, and Terry (Deborah) Livesay; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers-in-law Larry Bennett and Gary Bryant.
Lewis was a 1952 graduate of Frankford High School in West Virginia. He served in the United States Army in Germany from 1955 to 1957. Lewis retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company after working there for over 37 years.
Lewis loved to go fishing with his grandson and granddaughter. He was a lifelong fan of car racing.
There will be no services held for Lewis at this time. A graveside service will be held at a later date in West Virginia where he grew up.
