Mark A. Blunk, age 58 of Findlay, passed away on March 20, 2020 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green. Mark was born on December 13, 1961 in Findlay to the late Teddy L. and Amelia "Amy" Ann (Fenton) Blunk.
Mark married Kim Huff on March 13, 1993 and she survives along with their two sons, Reed and Dalton, both of Findlay. Also surviving are his siblings Kathy Precht, Timothy (Gail) Blunk, Denny (Lana) Blunk, and Amber (Danny) Thomas. Mark is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sherri Campbell.
Mark worked for the City of Findlay for 25 years in the sewer maintenance division. He was an avid outdoorsman and nature enthusiast who loved hunting with his sons.
A free spirit who never met a stranger. He had a gentleness and fun-loving personality that children adored, which led Mark and Kim to volunteer through the Children's Mentoring Connection. In the program of Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Mark enjoyed his time being a big brother to Saul for over 3 years.
Mark was a music lover and a Grateful Dead fan. He also enjoyed football and was a die-hard Minnesota Vikings fan. He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Findlay.
A visitation and "Celebration of Peace" will be held to remember Mark at a later date at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio.
