Donna J. Clymer, age 89 of Findlay, passed away at 9:55 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Primrose Retirement Village. Donna was born on January 6, 1931 in Hancock County, Ohio to the late Victor J. and Gladys Faye (Myers) Ferrell. On June 25, 1951 Donna was married to Thomas L. Clymer. He preceded her in death on August 17, 2006. Donna is survived by her children, Joyce (Emil) Ziegler of Findlay, Ohio, Bradley D. (Doug Grotegeer) Clymer of Columbus, Ohio, and Anita (Jim) Zeigler of Washington Court House, Ohio; grandchildren Neil Powell, Leslie Powell, Emily (Jacob) Moore, Andrew Zeigler (Jessica Eichenlaub), and Katie Zeigler; step grandchildren Brent Ziegler, James Zeigler and Lisa Zeigler; and two great grandchildren, Christian and Presley. Donna was preceded in death by her sisters, Janet Basinger and Margaret Brown, and a brother, Robert Ferrell. She was a 1948 graduate of Liberty High School, now Liberty-Benton High School. Donna was formerly employed as a bookkeeper for J. Parker Dinius; A.C. Mazza MD, and also worked at Theatrical Supplies and was a telephone operator. Donna was a member of the Powell Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was involved with Ladies Aid. She was also a member of Shuffles & Ruffles Square Dance Club, and was a past Matron of the Rawson Eastern Star. She had season tickets to O.S.U Football games and also liked the New York Yankees and Green Bay Packers. She was a member of Fifty-North where she played Pinochle and Euchre. Donna made quilts for all of her children and grandchildren and also enjoyed Counted Cross-Stitching. Visitation for friends and family will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2020 at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the funeral home with Dr. Hugh Bowland officiating. Burial will follow in Benton Ridge Cemetery.
