Robert Alan Hedges, age 73 of Findlay, passed away at 9:50 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. Robert was born on April 13, 1946 in Findlay to the late Dorothy (Heers) Hedges-Frash and Ralph Hedges.
He is survived by a daughter, Kelly (Brian) Young; three grandchildren: Nathan Foust, Emily Foust and Bailee Miles; two great grandchildren: Greyson and Noah; a sister, Karen Hedges-Valentine; and a niece Heather Valentine, nephew Matthew Valentine, and niece Mallory Ochoa. He married Jane Hedges and later they divorced, but they remained close friends throughout his life.
Robert served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Local 18 Operating Engineers. He was a lifetime member of the Amvets Post #21 where he served as a past commander. He was a life member of the Amateur Trap Shooting Association. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, trapshooting, and was an avid Raiders and Buckeyes fan.

Visitation will be held from 1-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay. A funeral service will follow, beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery with military rites performed by the Hancock Veterans Memorial Squad.
