Charles H. Cook, Sr., 81 of Findlay, died at 5:47 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Genacross Lutheran Services, Wolf Creek Campus in Holland, Ohio.
Charles was born on April 20, 1937 in Forest, Ohio to the late Cecil and Alice (Disher) Cook.
He married Rosemary Ellen Brown on July 15, 1956 and she preceded him in death on October 5, 1996. Surviving are two children: a son, Charles H. Cook, Jr. and his wife Beth (Lauman) Cook of Sylvania, Ohio and a daughter, Deb Myers of Toledo, Ohio; five grand children: Charissa, Erica, Jacob, Jarad and Jessie; and five great grandchildren. He was the last survivor of nine siblings: Bob, Bill, Russell, Paul, Richard, Norma Jean, Mary and Dortha.
Charles worked as a machinist for the former R.C.A. in Findlay, Ohio.
Visitation will be held at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME from 1-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2019, and for an hour prior to the service on Monday from 10-11:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 25 at the funeral home with the Rev. Greg Olsen officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
