Mary is best known for her many "garage sales" in Carey where she made crafts, including team snowmen and Victorian Santas. She was a very tender-hearted lady who would do "anything for anyone" and will be greatly missed by many. Mary enjoyed "bingo" at Fox Run Manor where she often won many prizes. Many referred to her as the "Bingo Queen".
Mary made the greatest decision of her life when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior on July 4, 1997. Matthew 16:26 "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it, because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."
