She was an administrative assistant throughout her career employed with Marathon Oil Company and Marathon Pipe Line Company, OHM Corporation for 12 years, The University of Findlay for 14 years, and most recently, Bowling Green State University. Anne was co- owner of CPE Consultants, LLC, serving as an ACPE-approved administrative provider, coordinating continuing pharmacy education activities for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Anne was a sustainer of Findlay Service League, receiving the Volunteer of the Year Award for her dedicated service to the organization and community. She was an associate member of Nature's Housekeepers and former member of Nature's Seedlings Garden Club. She served as a substitute member of a women's gourmet club and was a past member of the Findlay Country Club.
A theatre enthusiast and former member of the Ft. Findlay Playhouse and Stranahan Theatre, Anne made two stage appearances on the Ft. Findlay Playhouse stage and several Findlay Light Opera musicals. A former member of The University of Findlay's Curtain Raisers Advisory Board, Anne was inducted into the Curtain Raisers Hall of Fame in May of 2015, honoring her many years of service and coordination of successful special events for the theater and music departments, which included a renaissance themed black-tie gala.
Anne was a member of a Findlay women's book club for over 20 years and possessed a mock-denied competitive spirit, looking forward to monthly bunco gaming with her St. Michael Mom's group and weekend cards with dear friends. Anne enjoyed high-level exercising for many years and took advantage of her YMCA membership by faithfully attending evening and Saturday morning classes and a private-home yoga class. Despite a dislike for running, she participated in several 5K runs and in April 2016, completed her first 4-mile run in Columbus for the Stefanie Spielman foundation.
Anne's culinary skills were well-known and for many years enjoyed providing catering services for private events and baking specialty desserts for selected philanthropic organizations, often receiving bids of up to $1000 for her gourmet Cheesecakes. Anne enjoyed movies, favoring classics and was annoyed by most remakes, she often quoted favorite movie lines to her family and friends. Anne and Jerry were regular fans at the UF Men's home basketball games, seated close behind the team's home bench and was a member of the
Cager's Club. Anne enjoyed cheering for The Ohio State University Buckeyes and held a strong grudge against the Team Up North and a zero tolerance policy for the Badgers. Her favorite part of the OSU games was attending TBDBlTL pre-game skull-session.
Anne's prized possession was her 2005 Anniversary Edition Ford Thunderbird, Cashmere, and looked forward to summer when she could tool around in the convertible.
Most importantly, Anne was an active member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Findlay. Regularly attending the 10:00 am. mass at the Main Church, Anne served as lector and Eucharistic member and assisted with ushering.
