Klora A. "Toni" Bennett, age 59 of Findlay, was surrounded by her loving family as she went to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:19 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, Ohio. She fought a battle with lymphoma with her devoted husband, Ralph, by her side. Toni was born on October 13, 1959 in Lima, Ohio to the late Harrison and Dorothy (Ramey) Hughes. On March 26, 1983 Toni married Ralph W. Bennett, Jr. He survives along with their children, Logan Bennett of Findlay, Martie (Brian) Andrews of Findlay, Jeannie Bennett, Alysia Bennett, and Kari Bennett, all of Glendale, Arizona; sisters Cathy (Rick) Sanchez and Cheryl (Robert) Ulrich; sisters-in-law Gladys Hughes and Nancy Hughes; and brother-in-law Jack Bayes. Preceding Toni in death were two brothers who died in infancy, Robert Hughes and A. J. Hughes; brothers Willis Hughes, Ron Hughes and James Hughes; and sisters Patsy Bayes, Betty (Dale) Prater, and Patricia Lawrence. Toni was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School. Toni was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family dearly. She was always the first one to lend a hand to help her family and friends. She was loved by the staff and students at Bigelow Hill and Washington Elementary Schools, where she worked as a paraprofessional. She had a big heart for animals and loved her dogs. Toni was known for her talents for decorating and planning special parties and events for her family and friends. She loved vacationing in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Visitation for friends and family of Toni will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. A funeral will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Mellott officiating. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Gardens, east of Arcadia.
