Carroll May Klakamp, age 92, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay. She was born to Charles and Hermoine (Ayers) Stanley in Indiana. She married Bernard F. Klakamp in 1947 and they enjoyed 55 years together before he passed away in 2002.
Carroll is survived by two sons and their wives, Stanley (Erika Scheufler) Klakamp of Bowling Green and Bryan and Cheryl Klakamp of Findlay. Five grandchildren survive: Kristi (Brad) Bash of Findlay, OH, Nicholas (Jessica) Klakamp of Bellevue, OH, Kyle (Melanie) Klakamp of McComb, OH; Gabrielle Klakamp and Galen Klakamp, both of Findlay. A grandson, Gabriel Klakamp, preceded her in death in 2003.
Also surviving are four great grandchildren: Molly, Karlie, Margo and Maelyn; one sister, Joan Rollings; one brother, David Stanley; and many nieces and nephews and their families. A sister, Norma Campbell and brothers, Donald, Leland, Herschel and Paul Stanley, preceded her in death.
Carroll was a graduate of North Salem High School. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
A memorial service will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 9935 St. Rt. 12 West, Findlay, Ohio.
